Aquatic Therapy

01

Intake

Your child will have a profile set up in our secure client portal. You will receive intake documents such as a medical history form, consent to treat, and a questionnaire about your child. This portal will also be where you can schedule appointments and communicate with your therapist.

02

Evaluation

The first scheduled visit your child will have will be a physical or occupational evaluation. This session will have a land-based portion which will be performed on the pool deck, followed by an in-water portion. The therapist will examine your child's motor function, both in and out of the water, and assess their mental adjustment to the water. They will discuss you and your child's goals for aquatic therapy and develop a plan of care.

03

Treatment

After the evaluation, the therapist will provide their recommendation for the frequency and duration of treatment sessions, taking into account your requests as a parent. Aquatic therapy sessions can be 45 minutes or 60 minutes in length. Sessions can be bought individually or in a package of six at a reduced rate.
